We’ve been a little busy with things lately.
Tom and I are both taking online classes this semester while sharing one computer. Tom is braving two accounting classes and statistics for this quarter. He is much braver than I am. I’m busy with just Shakespeare and Creative Writing. I’m only taking two classes this semester because of financial aid issues we had, but I should still be able to graduate by the end of 2008. Finally. I never imagined I would spend 8 years getting a 4 year degree.
Oh. Well.
I’ve also been baking a lot. Yesterday, I thought it would be fun to try and make apple pie from scratch. It’s something I’ve never made so I was a bit worried.
It turned out very yummy. It was rather simple, but I’m still proud of myself.
This morning Rylee painted the first part of a picture. She said she wasn’t done, but here is her work in progress:

She was very content with her work so far.
Mommy: What are you painting?
Rylee: Stars at night
Mommy: Where?
Rylee: Not yet, mommy. Wait.
