We’re Home

We decided to leave Missouri about 4:00 pm yesterday, and got home around 6:00 am today.

Merry Christmas (part 4)

This has been a great Christmas Vacation. We’re staying in Missouri a little bit longer, but I wanted to show all of you some of the fun stuff that’s been going on. Jack and Rylee got to spend some fun cousin time together.

They had a blast playing “good guys and bad guys”,

playing in a police car with Grandpa,

and playing in an ambulance with Grandma.

Rylee can’t wait to spend more time with Jack, but she’s been enjoying time with everyone else as well. Tom and I have enjoyed sharing the burden of Rylee’s energy draining abilities. Rylee has had fun getting to know the real Aunt Sarah,

and falling asleep, on time, with Grandma’s help.

And last night we started the reading of The Night Before Christmas from Grandma while daddy and Grandpa went and protected Wal-Mart. (Yes, they did.)

This morning was a wonderful morning of a ton of toys that are giving never ending pleasure.

Hopefully, this lasts.

Merry Christmas (part 1)

Tom decided to decorate the house this Christmas. To many who might be wondering, I believe that it is in the Spirit of Competition and not the Spirit of Christmas; it is possible, however, that he’s just using the competition to show some Christmas spirit. We will never know!

We’ve already received a few cards and pictures in the mail; we have enjoyed them all.

Tom, Rylee, and I are going out of town tomorrow. We have a friend coming to check on Belle and to bring in our mail. We’re not sure how long we will be gone, but we are incredibly excited about leaving this region, even if it’s temporary.

We will update and put up tons of pictures when we have the opportunity, but I don’t know if we’ll have any reception or not to do so.

With Tom’s schedule making it impossible for any of us to remember the day of week without looking at a calender, It’s not very often that he gets to just chill on the couch with Rylee. It was a very relaxing day with him home yesterday.

Tea Anyone?

Rylee hasn’t been feeling well the past few days, but that hasn’t discouraged her spirit for fun. She’d been such a good girl we got out her tea set and had a party. It got her to drink a little bit any way.
