I don’t get to see one very often, but enjoy them when I do. We had one at my dad’s house a few years ago that ate a lot of spiders. Yay! Tom noticed this one on his car this morning so I took a picture of him.

Hundreds of friends, family and well-wishers congregated on Main Street in Slater just in front of Veterans Park to honor more than 70 Vietnam veterans or family members representing them on Saturday, Sept. 15. The veterans were presented with medallions and certificates commemorating their service to the country.

I’ve been very busy with school, but we all seem to be doing quite well.
Rylee is now only wearing plain old cotton big girl panties and is thriving at school. She seems to have the run of the mill there; she switches between the two year olds and the three year olds throughout the day.
Belle becomes more a part of the family every day, including, helping the munchkin take over the bed on occasion. *Picture to come soon.*
We’ve been lucky that Tom has had the weekends off lately. Hopefully, that will keep up!
Before we left North Carolina we had decided to try out a puppy. The puppy and Rylee had issues with one another, and we decided to rent instead of buy. The puppy was returned (and hopefully adopted by people he was more compatable with.)
Now that we’re in military housing we can have a dog again. We decided to foster ‘baby’ to see how she works out with us. She’s 1 1/2 year old Rotweiller whose family couldn’t take her along with them. She’s very friendly with all of us and sleeps quite well at night. We decided to go ahead and adopt her… and rename her. She already responds to Belle.
