she appears to be fine. Occasionally, she is complaining, but may be just growing pains.

What a week thus far!
August 22, 2007I’ve been slowly moving the rest of our belongings in from the garage while trying to keep what is already inside neat and orderly. I’ve actually been up on making sure the beds are made, dishes washed, clothes washed AND folded (why are folding clothes and putting up dishes the worst chores ever?!) So far the house is nicer – much better than the one in Cleveland. We do need a few rugs for downstairs before it gets cold though. (If you feel generous I’ll probably be adding some to the wish list…just in case).
Rylee has been adjusting to school quite well. She began Monday with only a quivering lip. Yesterday was better, but she seems to have somehow hurt herself. After 4 hours in the ER it was determined that her pain and limping were not caused by her bones. Which is good. We’re hoping that the next couple of days prove to be better and not worse, or she might be having some problem with her hips. I’m hoping it’s just a twisted ankle.
I started school today, well…Start today. I haven’t had a class quite yet. I’m really excited about a few classes and incredibly nervous about them too. For the first time ever I have the chance to take a Journalism class. I’ve always wanted to, but never had the chance. It’s a prerequisite for another class I have to take for my minor..New Media Communication and Design. The other class is a New Media Projects class. It’s classified as a senior level computer classes so I’m terrified. There are no requirements for it, and I do know a lot, but my knowledge is miniscule to what there is for me to learn. I guess that’s true in just about everything though. It also gives me the opportunity to learn things I’ve just been to lazy to figure out on my own.
Tom should be home Friday and that about sums up the week. I’m trying to get an appointment to the doctor today or Friday because Rylee scratched the H.E.Double Hockeysticks out of my neck on the bottom part of my tattoo and that might have caused a slight problem. Hoping for the best with that too.
Looking forward to all of us being at home again and in some sort of routine. As bizarre as that routine is.
Oh yeah. Some one ran over our mailbox yesterday. Exciting.

Not a lot
August 22, 2007is going on. I have some pictures as soon as I can find the little thingy to attactch with the memory stick. Just posted on the other site too…

The Last Leg
August 17, 2007We stayed last night in Forest, MS. We ate pizza and watched lots of tv from the bed. It was quite relaxing. We didn’t get many pictures on this last part of the trip due to leaving the camera’s battery charger in Georgia. If any surface from Uncle Matt or Grandpa Reed I will update. We will drive another 4 – 5 hours today, and wake up early to meet Tom at our new house tomorrow. I think he’s headed up today to get things out of storage. We’re not going to have internet at home for a while so I’ll only be able to post things from school. I may get up there Monday or Tuesday, but don’t count on anything else until at least Wednesday.

Self Improvement Update
August 12, 2007I made a list a couple of months ago of everything that I needed to work on and decided that it’s time for a review of myself.
Here’s the list:
* Get my body physically into shape (did I mention that I am otherwise healthy? Apparently?)
* Get my hair done to something that makes me feel more me, slightly more ’spunky’ (FYI: I’ve had my hair, or parts of my hair every color under the rainbow, and outside… including….. Black, Fire Red, Purple, Green, Pink.)
* Finally get that tattoo or two I’ve been wanting for the past 14 years.
* Get some earrings that I can wear easily without my daughter pulling them out.
* Hopefully some new clothes to go with the more improved body that I will be getting.
* Work with my dentist on my teeth.
* Clear my skin up from the mess that the hormonal craziness has caused (I will be letting everyone know whether proactive really works or not)
Achievements:
* I had been working out almost two hours a day, five days a week before we came to Texas. I’ve been doing what I can without killing myself in the heat here (Including mowing my dad’s yard with a push mower which is not an easy task). I’ve cut my calorie intake on the days we’ve been bums and I’ve almost lost an entire size. I can fit into what tens I have much easier, and my 12’s are loose even out of the dryer. Once we get back to Dahlonega I’ll start working out at the gym again and we’ll have a couple of parks and a jogging trail within easy access to the new house at Porter Village.
*My dad had said he’d pay for me to have my hair done, but when I priced what I wanted done it was almost $200, and while some of you think it might not be much I find it absurd. So I spent $18 on a decent haircut and spent $16 on do it yourself products. It’s still a little more spunky, and I feel much more like myself WITHOUT spending an extra $165.
*I got one tattoo, and even though it hurt really bad in one area, I think I might get one or two more in the future.

* Haven’t gotten any new jewelry as of yet, except some I inherited but haven’t really gone through it. No new clothes either…well one new shirt.
* Haven’t seen a new dentist yet either. I will schedule an appointment as soon as I can find one in Dahlonega with insurance coverage. It’s been tricky so far.
* I got some Proactive and it really helped a lot. With the rest of my hormone issues I’ve almost cut out all products which contain hormones given to me…meat..milk..cheese…eggs….I’ve ALMOST become a vegetarian, but ate some wild hog that had been recently killed. Since it wasn’t raised and injected with crap I ate just a little bit of it. This has also helped with some weight loss. I’ve also almost completely cut out coke. My hormones are becoming my own again!!

New Tattoooouch
August 11, 2007Yes. It did hurt, but only part of it. Most of it was just a little discomfort at the position my neck was in, and my nose kept itching from looking downward, but….there was part of the top part near the bone that I thought he was drilling into my neck. It did not hurt as bad as I thought it might though. Relief. And Excitement. I finally got one! My hair is kinda everywhere in this picture, but it is decent in showing the tattoo.
In case you’re wondering…A heart within a heart – a mother’s love encircling her child,
giving it guidance, protection and encourage. The dot(s) symbolize how many children.

More fun having
August 7, 2007Well as the course comes to an end, the fun finally starts. The other day I got to drive a M1A2 Abrams Tank or MB-1 for all the Jar-Heads in the family. This thing was fun. I got it up to 45 mph, and then jumped a two foot hill with it. If I ever win the lottery, I’m buying one. Mainly so when one of those “Fast and Furious” kids pulls up next to me with his Honda Civic that has the weed eater muffler and is blasting his music, I can just turn the tank and crush the entire car without even feeling it.

school is nearing
August 2, 2007Ahhh! I’m not ready to start the hastle of school again. My schedule is crazy … I’m finally a senior, but I still have a lot of classes to take. 20 of them in the fall…..GRRR
