Potty Training Complete?

Almost!! Today has been an excellent day in the potty training venture. Sometimes it can be completely exhausting just taking Rylee to the bathroom and then watching her get so excited about using the potty that she can’t go and then goes on the floor. A day of that and it feels like parental defeat, and images of a 16 year old wearing diapers flashes through my head. Not today though. She’s wearing her big girl panties (and nothing else) and is enjoying telling me she needs to potty (what seems like every 30 minutes) and she’s going. It’s a proud mommy day.

Trip Update

We are still coming out that way. I’ve almost completely decided to do make the drive in two days instead of one. I’m not so much worried about Rylee not going to sleep, or me staying awake. She’s got to crash sometime, and I’ve driven longer. My one concern is that after she falls asleep I’ll have to stop and pee and wake her up so I don’t leave her in the car by herself. There is always the option of pulling over on the side of the road and going, I just don’t know that I’m up for that these days.

Trip Planned

Hello everyone!!

As of right now Tom will be in school from July 08 – Aug 24.  Rylee and I will be planning a trip to Texas for the majority of that time.  We’re planning on leaving early Saturday afternoon on the 7th, and probably returning around August 15, the 20th at latest.  School starts for me again on the 22nd.

Hola!

So, not much has been going on the past few weeks:

• Tom was going to try to deploy, but is not going to be able to do so at the moment.
• I’m done with school until the fall. I did pretty good in my classes for my first time back in a classroom while having a kid.
• I’m officially a senior now — which took long enough.
• Rylee’s been goofy as usual. We’ll try to get some of the new pictures up.
• I’ve been learning css – roughly, my myspace page is totally my own creation though, if you’re interested.

Not really much else right now.
