End of Semester Blues

I’ve been in and out of college for almost 8 years now. I never imagined that it would take me so long to get a degree. There was also a lot of other things I didn’t see myself doing along the way, but I wouldn’t change anything that got me to the place I am now. I am so thankful that I have the people who are in my life and blessed by them every day…

BUT……. when it comes to school I’m just ready to be done with it.

It’s getting close to the end of the semester which is nice, but my last final is on April 30th and I start the first summer session on May 14th. That ends June 23rd, but I begin the second session on June 25th. That goes through the August 6th, and then fall begins August 21. I do have a couple of weeks here and there, but my schedule is even more across the board time wise. In the fall I have classes ranging from 9:00 in the morning till 10:00 at night. My upper level classes for Literature correspond with their graduate versions so they’re all at night which is a pain, but I think we found someone conveniant to watch Rylee from the time she leaves ’school’ until Tom or I can pick her up.

I’m taking heavy loads, but I should be finished at latest next December, if the classes are available I will be able to graduate next summer.

YAY!

*Update*

I’m now holding off on some summer  classes to make sure everything around here is going like we’re expecting it too.  It’ll also be nice to spend at least the first part of the summer with Rylee.
